Ox gall for Winsor & Newton watercolour 75ml

• Winsor & Newton water colour additives are used to modify drying time, increase gloss, improve flow and provide texture.
• They offer endless opportunities to add special effects and variations for watercolour.
• Increases wettability and fluidity. Use to improve flow when mixed directly with watercolours.
• Can also be used on very stiff sized papers to reduce surface tension. Diluted in water it lowers the surface tension of liquid colours by degreasing undercoats and gradients improving the flow of colours.
• If a paper resists a watercolour coating, let it dry before covering the paper with the diluted ox gall. Once it is dry, painting can continue as usual.
• Add 3-4 drops per cup of water.
• Quantity: 75 ml.
