Our origin
The origin of what it is today 
began in 1983 with the opening of the Bellas Artes store in the historic center of León. Ana and Jose created an art supply store with an exhibition gallery that became a reference in the city.
With the arrival of new technologies, and thanks to the knowledge and help of their children, they ventured into the online world in 2011.
After several years of hard work and a lot of effort, the concept of has been taking shape to form the team that we are today and that allows us to open, in 2023, a physical store in Madrid.
Our passion
Art is a clear example of how in this world there is always something to surprise us, from the birth of new artistic movements, techniques or materials, to the emergence of new ways of understanding the concept of art itself. In such a rich and free field, why should we take anything for granted? That is why we are committed to experimentation, exploring new paths and discovering how far our attempts can take us.
We firmly believe that art should not seek perfection, but that its essence should be based on experimentation, where there is room for error and we can have fun looking for our own limits.
Our personality
Latin and its influence on art are reflected in our brand, both in the name and in our language. Our use of Latin does not seek to achieve perfection but to reflect the universality of art to allow us to experiment, even to err, while carrying out creative processes.
We understand that error is intrinsic to human nature and is, therefore, a genuinely creative sign. It is a key element in the development of art.
And that is why doodles are the graphic representation of error in our identity.
It is to dare to make art even if we do not have extensive academic knowledge. It is to be able to express ourselves freely.
Our team
Our team 
is made up of more than 150 people who work to facilitate the creative process for all artists. We are a young team of more than six nationalities with different profiles. There are many artists among us, but also computer scientists, warehouse staff or customer service, to make the gear work.
All our products travel from our warehouse in Spain and are delivered to your homes and workshops throughout Europe, Chile, USA and Canada.
Our goal
is the specialist Fine Art brand that seeks to liberate and facilitate the creative process.
