Baohong high-performance watercolor papers

Born in Asia and recognized by artists worldwide, Baohong blends the sensitivity of Eastern techniques with the demands of Western watercolor. From that drive to bridge cultures comes Masters’ Choice, its flagship line designed to deliver control, color, and stability in every brushstroke.

Masters’ Choice stands out for a uniform, durable surface that handles heavy washes, glazing, and corrections without degrading. Its internal and external sizing helps maintain crisp edges and predictable pigment diffusion, while the neutral pH and high-quality fiber composition support archival preservation and color fidelity.

Available in various weights and textures (hot-pressed, cold-pressed, and rough), you’ll find formats in glued blocks, loose sheets and packs, ideal for both studio and outdoor work. The paper minimizes cockling, supports light mixed-media techniques, and enhances watercolor’s characteristic luminosity.
