Winsor & Newton Squirrel Mop Wash brushes are made with the finest blue Russian squirrel hair, which is ideal for watercolour washes. They have a tapered shape with thick bellies and a fine tip that allows the brush to retain a large amount of colour for washes, offering responsiveness and control when used for finer details. These handmade brushes use a natural goose feather for the ferrule, which is more flexible and responsive than a metal ferrule, and in addition to use with watercolours, are useful for gouache, silk painting and any fluid colour application.
