• Acid dyes are used for dyeing silk, wool, feathers, other protein fibres and nylon.
• Extremely brilliant and resistant.
• They are highly concentrated hot water powder dyes which produce a uniform colour during immersion dyeing. They absorb well and do not fade or discolour in washing.
• In addition to dyeing yarns, fibres and fabrics, they can also be used for painting or direct printing applications by steam fixation.
• Contains 6 colours of 14,71g: 628 Chartreuse, 620 Intense Fuchsia, 640 Yellow, 642 Fluorescent Red, 645 Blacklight Blue.
• Directions for use:
• - Mix the concentrated powder dye with tap water to create the most vibrant colours possible for cotton, linen and other vegetable fabrics.
• - Often used with a sodium carbonate fixative, which can be added directly to the dye bath or used to pre-treat the fabric.
• - One 18.71 g bottle will dye over 0.45 kg of dry fabric.
