• Handmade oil pigment sticks.
• Formulated with linseed oil, high quality pure pigments and just enough wax to give it that elongated shape that allows the artist to paint directly on the surface.
• Unlike many other industrially produced oils, they contain no additives, extenders, substitutes or facilitators so as not to reduce the quality of the paint.
• They are labor intensive to manufacture and formulate and are made by hand in small batches.
• They are mixable with pine or linseed oil, alkyd mediums or resin gels, and can be thinned with turpentine or mineral spirits.
• They are excellent stand-alone tools for painting, but you can also use them with a palette knife or brushes.
• They can be used on any base suitable for oil painting: stretched canvas, paper, clay-coated paper, primed canvas, lauan panels, plywood, copper, iron or aluminum, glass and plexiglass.
• More absorbent surfaces will make the paint dry faster and leave a matte finish.
• When completely dry they can be varnished as you would with any oil paint.
• Contains 6 sticks of colors: Naples yellow, pale cadmium green, king blue, peacock red, peacock shadow green and neutral white.
