Set of 30 Schmincke multipurpose soft pastels Box of 30 soft pastels with basic colors for any type of work. Schmincke pastels date back to the origins of color. The extra soft pastel sticks are composed exclusively of the best pigments and a minimum amount of binders to allow a perfect union of even medium-fine pigments. Its manufacturing is based on a very complex traditional procedure: screw presses shape the dough into round balls that are later collected by hand and cut to the necessary length. The bars, still wet, have to be air dried for 8 days. Due to their very fine composition, machine processing is not possible, as they could break. Each stick is individually handcrafted with high-quality, highly concentrated pigments for exceptionally strong color application. It has a high resistance to light. They come placed in a quality wooden box to ensure their conservation and facilitate their organization and transportation.
