Schmincke Horadam gouache tubes are made with gum arabic and the best artist pigments. The colors are intense and have a natural opacity. All colors are highly pigmented and therefore have great luminosity and saturation. They can be used in two ways: incorporating the appropriate amount directly from the tube into the metal box that serves as a palette; or pre-dilute it with water. Horadam Gouache dries to a velvety matte finish that blends well with transparent watercolors. Once dry, it can be moistened again and used without losing its properties, even with excess water.
