Sewing Paper Clairefontaine 50x100cm
Sewing paper is a durable and eco-friendly material that combines the qualities of fabric with the look of leather.
Flexible yet sturdy, it is easy to work with to make bags, belts, wallets, notebook covers, labels and other fashion accessories.
It can be washed, ironed, sewn, glued, embroidered, colored, embossed, punched, folded and braided. One roll of sewing paper 50x100cm with FSC certification.
Wash the paper before use (max. 40°C by hand or in the washing machine) to make it more flexible, easier to handle and give it texture and leather look.
Tips: The wrinkled appearance of the paper is accentuated after tumble drying. This appearance can be reduced by ironing the piece with a very hot iron or steam iron.
Iron metallic colors on the reverse side.
Customization: Once washed, the paper can be customized as desired: hand or machine stitched (3-3.5 mm stitches recommended), glued (craft glue, hot glue or wood glue), painted, colored, dyed (textile paints/dyes), embossed/perforated.
