Mix for browning 12 hours Charbonel Lefranc and Boirgeois 1L Lefranc 12 Hour Gilding Mix is an oil-based fixative designed for gilding gold leaf and metals. Made in France, it is a staple of master gilders around the world for gluing gold leaf to non-porous surfaces such as glass, metal or marble. Does not contain lead. Designed for use on large surfaces, it also works best outdoors in dry climates, subject to limited amounts of dust. Provides longer-lasting protection, greater shine and depth. When gilding smaller surfaces or interiors subject to humidity and high dust rates, it is recommended to use Lefranc 3 Hour Gilding Mix. Drying time: 12 hours. Contains 1L. Brand: Lefranc and Boirgeois.
