12 Inktense Blocks XL Derwent Tin

Metal tin with 12 Inktense Blocks XL Derwent

The Derwent Inktense Blocks feature a versatile, water-soluble, ink-like formulation with powerful color pigments.

Inktense is ideal for layering colors. Once dry, the color becomes water-resistant, allowing additional layers without reactivating previous ones.

Each color block delivers a high pigment load, far exceeding pencils, and is easy to use across multiple techniques.

The XL block can be applied directly or crumbled onto the artwork surface.

Using a spray bottle, you can create striking effects by dissolving fragments in water or spraying directly onto color marks.

Quickly produces fine lines, bold strokes, or covers large areas with ease.

Can also be used like a color pan when painting with a brush.
