Metal box 12 half godet watercolour Signature A. Gallo
Signature 1 is a vibrant palette of pure pigments and exclusive secondary blends. This collection of 12 colours is at once clean and luminous, grainy and deep.
Includes a hand-tied pocket mop brush, series 1337 by @tintorettobrushes. This unique pocket brush, with synthetic squirrel fibre, is attached with a golden wire to a polished black handle. The cap is matt black.
Now featuring Transparent red oxide (PR101), a warm orange/sienna oxide shade perfect for adding layers and light to earth tones. Mix this moderately grainy oxide red with ultramarine blue for dramatic sky washes or use it to modify sap green in landscapes for intense, expressive greens. Transparent red oxide will replace Quinacridone red gold (P048), which is no longer in production.
Handmade watercolour set with twelve individually wrapped medium godets in a metal box with two mixing surfaces and a colour chart printed on Arches watercolour paper. The Signature 1 palette is packaged with original marbled paper made by a Florentine artisan workshop and comes in an elegant gift box.
Handmade in Assisi, A. Gallo watercolours are made according to a traditional recipe with pure pigments, gum arabic, local honey, rosemary essential oil and a wetting agent. This artisanal process results in a highly pigmented and luminous paint, which is wonderfully activated by water.
A. Gallo Colors are 100% handmade. The godets may have small imperfections, such as tiny bubbles or slight marks. This does not affect the quality of the paint and is proof of the handwork behind each unique piece.
Caution: Medium godets pose a choking hazard and are not intended for child use. It is also recommended to keep them out of reach of pets.
Safety and sustainability: All A. Gallo Colors watercolours are free of cadmium, cobalt, lead and mercury.
