Metal box 12 half godet watercolour Naturale A. Gallo

A special palette of pigments of mineral, vegetable and natural earth origin! With shades appreciated since antiquity, this collection is inspired by the fresco painting of Roman villas. The combination of delicate and intense colours makes this palette perfect for naturalistic botanical illustrations and atmospheric landscapes.

• Rosso Ercolano (PR102, PR101) - A vibrant mix of red and orange earths from the area near Pompeii.
• Blu di Zirconio (PB71) - A striking mineral blue pigment, often used as a cobalt-free alternative to granulated cerulean blue.
• Deep Yellow Ochre (PY43) from Morocco - An intense, earthy yellow ochre.
• Morellone (PR101) - A powerful opaque iron oxide pigment with deep violet undertones.
• Genuine Indigo (NB1) - Extracted from the Indigofera tinctoria plant.
• Rosso Sartorio (PR102) - A special volcanic shade from near Mount Etna in Sicily, a personal choice due to my Sicilian ancestry.

This handcrafted watercolour set includes twelve individually wrapped medium godets in a metal box with two mixing areas, a colour chart printed on Arches watercolour paper, and a Tintoretto size 6 artistic quality pocket brush. The Naturale 12 palette is packaged with original marbled paper made by a Florentine artisan workshop and presented in an elegant gift box.

Craftsmanship and quality

Handmade in Assisi, A. Gallo watercolours are made according to a traditional recipe with pure pigments, gum arabic, local honey, rosemary essential oil and a wetting agent. This artisanal process results in a highly pigmented and luminous paint, which is wonderfully activated by water.

A. Gallo Colors are 100% handmade. The godets may have small imperfections, such as tiny bubbles or slight marks. This does not affect the quality of the paint and is proof of the handwork behind each unique piece.

Caution: Medium godets pose a choking hazard and are not intended for child use. It is also recommended to keep them out of reach of pets.
