Liquitex Additive Iridescent Pouring Medium 473ml

• Liquitex Pouring Medium 16 oz is a medium specifically designed for pouring applications in acrylic paint.

• Non-cracking: The pouring medium is formulated to be non-cracking in pouring applications, which means that it will maintain its integrity and flexibility as the paint dries. This is especially important when working with pouring techniques where paint layers are stretched and manipulated.

  1. Creating uniform pour puddles and sheets: This medium helps to create fluid pour paint puddles and uniform sheets on the work surface. It provides the right consistency for paint to flow effortlessly and spread evenly, making it easy to create smooth, flowing effects.

  2. Mixes with soft-bodied acrylic colours: The pouring medium can be mixed with soft-bodied acrylic colours to promote drying with a smooth, even film of colour. This means that you can achieve uniform colour surfaces without visible brush strokes, which is ideal for certain painting styles and effects.

  3. High gloss and wet look: The pouring medium maintains a high gloss and wet look even after the paint is completely dry. This gives the work a glossy and vibrant finish, highlighting the colours and adding visual depth.

It is important to follow the manufacturer's instructions on the proper mixing ratio with the pouring medium and the recommended drying time. Also, be sure to test beforehand to familiarise yourself with the product and achieve the desired effects in your acrylic paint pouring applications.
