The CHARBONNEL range meets the requirements of the most demanding printers and artists, selecting pigments, light fastness, acidity, oil quality, fineness of grind to guarantee printing quality and sustainability.< /li> All of our blue intaglio inks are made from phthalocyanine pigments, except ultramarine blue and Prussian blue. Phthalocyanine pigments are transparent, highly colored and very stable. Typical drying time for our blues is about 10 days, except for Orient Blue and Concentrated Blue, which dry in about 20 days. Our etching ink is 100% natural and non-toxic. Each color is highly pigmented and offers impressive coverage power even after dilution. Like oil paints, Charbonnel inks absorb oxygen to dry.
