Lefranc and Bourgeois Charbonnel Aqua Wash Etching Ink Black 55985 60ml Aquawash etching ink is a water-soluble emulsioned oil-based ink (does not contain water).  It meets all criteria for "extra fine" quality and has a high pigment concentration, identical to that of conventional inks. These inks allow the reproduction of all engraving techniques: engraving, drypoint, black way, etching and aquatint, as well as monotype and relief engraving techniques, such as linocut and woodcut.  The printing inks are true greasy inks for all relief and intaglio techniques, the colours are impregnable once dry (unlike water-based linocut inks). High light fastness. Colours can be mixed together. Can be used on paper with lower humidity than conventional inks. Dries as well as conventional inks.
