The Stain-Resistant Wood Base is a water-based product that, if applied before painting, prevents the appearance of stains. Definitively covers stains caused by tannins, humidity, ballpoint pen, marker, grease, nicotine... If the piece has been painted without applying any primer and stains have appeared, this base can be applied and then painted again and the stains will no longer appear. Its use is especially advisable when you plan to paint the wood with light colors. Applying it before painting improves adherence and prolongs the duration of the paint. It also uniforms the surface to be painted, achieving an impeccable aesthetic result and reducing the consumption of finishing paint. Surface must be clean and dry. To ensure a homogeneous coverage of all possible tannin stains, it is recommended to apply 2 layers of product. Wait 2 to 4 hours before applying the second layer.
