Faber-Castell scraper blade for sharpening Faber Castell handmade multipurpose knife. The quality of a sharpening blade, especially the blade, is crucial for optimal sharpening of wooden pencils. Due to their rigid and hard leads, graphite pencils are sharpened finely and sharply. Given their soft leads, colored pencils sharpen bluntly and thickly. For optimal sharpening, we recommend replacing the blade frequently because it deteriorates over time, which can cause the lead to break.
