This book is aimed at those artists, whether amateurs or those with previous knowledge, who are interested in and wish to discover the creative possibilities of drawing. The book explains the different drawing techniques in depth, allowing the reader to discover a rich field of experimentation in which the materials, applicators and procedures generate varied and surprising results.

The reader will find fourteen different techniques with which he or she can experiment in depth and in a practical way, starting from a creative project specifically designed to make the most of its artistic possibilities. Each project is based, on the one hand, on the historical reference of a painter who applied this technique in his personal language and, on the other, on a visual model from which a work is developed step by step. A gallery with different possible endings is also shown, explaining the different variables of this technique. Finally, a window to new proposals leaves the project open for the reader to develop it from new models or from different formal, chromatic or compositional approaches.
