The famous calligraphic artist Denise Lach shows us the fascinating transformation of photographic subjects from nature into written images. Nature is an extraordinary and inexhaustible source of inspiration, which invites us to take a closer look at it in order to train our gaze and deepen our powers of observation. In the creative process with writing, as in the contemplation of nature, meditative and sensory experience are combined. More important to the author than the legibility of the writing is the free creative conversation of motifs in her own handwriting and writing.

Handwriting offers us an absolutely personal access to the written textures and their manifold creative possibilities. Apart from enthusiasm and willingness, no special prior knowledge is required to experiment with different instruments and to play with handwriting.
