• Digital imitation, especially where and with what pressure the pen is applied and glided over a tablet, is a technical challenge. This challenge can now be overcome with the help of intelligent technologies.
• One of these is Wacom's EMR technology, based on electromagnetic resonance.
• Using sensors, an electromagnetic signal is detected which, combined with an alternating grid, generates a magnetic field.
• The magnetic field is reduced to approximately 5 mm above the surface of the glass, thus registering the position of the writing instrument as well as the angle and pressure.
• Based on this technology, together with Wacom, we developed the AL Sport Connect EMR Black, a stylus in the popular Kaweco Sport shape, made of aluminium.
• The EMR technology in the grip of the Al Sport Connect EMR Black offers more than 4000 pressure levels.
• This allows for pixel-precise writing, typing and/or drawing with suitable software, such as Photoshop or Inkscape. The pen does not need to be charged and is always ready to use.
• Spare nibs are available for replacement, should they wear out in use.
