Les Carrés Conté à Paris Colour Bars

Carrés pastels are an indispensable tool for drawing.
They are famous for the quality of their pigments, their lightfastness, their brilliance and the exceptional purity of their colours.
These pastels have a unique square shape, with a section of 6 x 6 mm and a length of 65 mm.
This allows for versatile use: precise strokes thanks to the edges, and smooth, powdery backgrounds and surfaces thanks to the edge.
Their texture, slightly softer than that of the Crayons Pastel pencils, makes them easy to apply on medium-weight supports, guaranteeing an exceptional and incomparable result.
Chosen by leading artists, the Carrés Conté de Paris have always been the reference in the field of pastels.
They can be used for sketches as well as for monochromatic or polychromatic works.
The use of the different corners and ends allows both the creation of coloured backgrounds and precise and detailed strokes.
