Technical description
Bamboo cane calligraphy callipers.
Available in three sizes: small, medium and large.
The cane is hollow and comes from bamboo and was already used in ancient times. In the 12th century it was used for making codices. The greatest splendour of this tool was in Arabic writing(qalam al-khat).
This is a dried stalk obtained from the bamboo plant. Depending on the bevel cut, you can achieve finer or thicker strokes.
The hollow inside allows the ink to be loaded.
The hardness of the bamboo gives it durability, as well as a touch and elegance.
