Artis Chromatica Cracking Varnish.

Varnish of two components and different drying times, which applied one on top of the other, produce cracks of great decorative effect.
It can be used to crackle paper sheets, or to give an aged appearance on any surface. Wood, furniture , walls etc.

How to use:
To obtain a good size craquelure, it is essential that the amount of the product is abundant in the two steps to follow.
Apply two generous coats of product one. Let dry between coats.
When the second coat of step 1 is mordant, apply a single coat of step 2, but, very abundant.
Tip: It is convenient that the brush does not stretch the product, but that it "possesses" it, extending it with the yolk of our fingers during some minutes, always trying a homogeneous and abundant layer.
The crack is almost imperceptible until we highlight it with the help of a brush dipped in a little patina. The patina will seep through the cracks highlighting it. The excess is removed with a cloth
