Ox Gall Aquafine Daler-Rowney 75ml
Ox gall is a natural watercolour medium used to improve wetting and increase the flow of paint by degreasing the undercoats before painting.
When used sparingly, it acts as a suitable levelling agent for watercolours.
Only a few drops need to be added to the mixing water.
This medium can be used with watercolours, inks or gouaches.
It is important to note that over time, ox gall may become slightly cloudy, but by simply shaking the bottle a little it is still suitable for use.
It is compatible with all types of watercolours and is recommended for use in conjunction with the Aquafine set of paints, brushes, pads and worktables.
