Watercolour Scandinavian style

Lovely hygge motifs for watercolour painting
Hygge is a Danish word that can be translated as cosy atmosphere or well-being. It describes those relaxed and pleasant moments that are achieved with soft lighting, comfortable furniture and something tasty to eat. Hygge is a philosophy of life that consists of appreciating and enjoying the small pleasures in life.
The book begins with an extensive chapter on basic watercolour techniques, with a special section devoted to gouache. It includes 20 charming watercolour motifs in Scandinavian hygge style, explained step by step with text and pictures: Dala horse, Swedish cottages, interior objects, Christmas motifs and much more. It is completed by small creative catalogues, with more models for inspiration, as well as templates of the motifs in the book for downloading.
