Wooden travel box 48 Horadam cakes Retro Schmincke Special Edition

• Extra soft cakes.
• Schmincke pastels go back to the origins of colour. The extra soft pastel sticks are composed exclusively of the best pigments and a minimum amount of binders to allow a perfect bonding of even medium-fine pigments.
• Their manufacture is based on a very complex traditional process: screw presses shape the dough into round balls, which are then picked up by hand and cut to the required length. The sticks, which are still wet, have to be air-dried for 8 days.
• Due to their very fine composition, machine processing is not possible, as they could break.
• Each stick is individually handmade with highly concentrated and high quality pigments for an exceptionally strong colour application.
• It has a high lightfastness.
• This set is inspired by a historic 1930's case.
• Walnut-stained beechwood case with brass fittings.
• The case includes two removable trays for safe storage and transport of the cakes. Underneath the wooden trays, an additional compartment holds the included cloth with the retro owl motif. 48 complete cakes.
• Holds 48 complete cakes and includes a retro cake insert and a letter from the vintage address.
