Horadam Schmincke, Wooden Box with 48 Watercolour Pans

Schmincke watercolours of extra-fine artist quality, made with high-grade pigments at the highest possible concentration.

Each colour has its own optimised formula.

To achieve outstanding characteristics such as easily reusable paint when dry on a palette and high control of the paint flow even on soft watercolour papers, Schmincke uses only the finest raw materials.

One of the main ingredients of the watercolour binder is Kordofan gum arabic from the southern Sahara region.

As with most natural products, this binding medium varies from year to year. Therefore, Schmincke tests every batch before purchase and selects only the best harvest of the respective year. Other formula ingredients are chosen with the same care and individually optimised for each recipe.
