Winsor & Newton Retouch Varnish Oil Paint Additive 250ml

• Winsor & Newton Artist's Touch-up Varnish is a UV-resistant gloss varnish that provides temporary protection for freshly finished oil paints. Unlike conventional artist's varnishes, this touch-up varnish can be painted over.

• For best results, it is recommended to keep subsequent colour layers as thick as possible, thinned with plenty of medium and applied in a thin, controlled manner. This helps to keep the surface of the touch-up varnish as even as possible.

• After allowing the last colour coat to dry for a period of six months, a coat of artist's varnish can be applied as a final finish. This additional coat of varnish provides long-lasting protection and helps to maintain the integrity of the paint over time.
