Vallejo Squidmar Colour model paint, 18ml

• Squidmar Colour is the result of several years of collaboration between Vallejo and Emil Nyström and Lukas Holmström, the creators of Squidmar Miniatures.
• The project began with a clear ambition: to develop a range capable of meeting the real needs of miniature painters without them having to collect hundreds of different colours.
• The range has been created for both beginners to the hobby and experienced painters seeking intense, reliable and easy-to-blend colours…
• Strong contrast, intuitive mixing, controlled transitions and a constant pursuit of saturation, vibrancy and visual impact. More than just a collection of paints, Squidmar Colour functions as an integrated system.
• The colours complement one another and can be used on wargaming miniatures, role-playing characters, entire armies and display pieces, using traditional methods, speed-painting techniques or special effects.
• Designed from scratch. This is not a collection of paints taken from existing ranges.
• Fewer pigments wherever possible. This allows for cleaner, easier-to-understand and more predictable mixes.
• Greater saturation and impact. The colours help create vibrant miniatures with strong contrast.
• A coherent colour system. Each shade has been designed to complement the others.
• True versatility. No colour is limited to a single purpose or technique.
• This range comprises 72 colours in 18ml pots:
• - The 48 acrylic paints form the basis of Squidmar Color. Their intensity and coverage allow you to apply everything from solid base coats to highlights, shadows, gradients and glazes.
• - The 7 metallic colours feature fine particles, excellent coverage and a defined finish, and can be used on their own, mixed together or combined with inks and acrylics to create colour variations, shadows and highlights.
• - The 5 fluorescent colours are formulated to provide maximum luminosity and intensity for focal points, magical effects, energy, weapons, markings and military details.
• - The 12 inks have been developed based on the painting techniques of Emil and Lukas. Their high saturation and even application allow you to intensify a colour and create a wash effect on a surface.
