• Kuretake has developed a special range of watercolours with stunning effects: Metallics and Specials.
• A special series of Gansai Tambi in a variety of magnificent pearlescent and metallic colours across five distinct families.
• They can be used for all kinds of projects, such as illustrations, paintings, calligraphy, brush lettering, etc.
• Gansai Tambi watercolours, from the Japanese brand Kuretake with over 100 years of history, are designed for fine art professionals as well as artists specialising in scrapbooking, illustration and sketching.
• Perfect for traditional watercolour techniques, mixed media techniques and lettering; also suitable for colouring books, filling in scrapbooking stamps and much more.
• The pans are even larger than a standard godet.
• They are characterised by their creamy texture and high pigmentation. Furthermore, they have the unique feature of not needing to be rehydrated frequently.
• Apply water with your brush to activate the colour. The pan may crack due to dry conditions; however, this will not affect the quality of the colour.
• It is a type of solid watercolour pressed into moulds that can be prepared and cleaned up quickly and dissolves easily in water.
• The godet makes it easier to use larger, thicker brushes and to colour large areas.

• Opal Colours range

• Gansai colours that reflect various shades of colour depending on the angle from which they are viewed.
• They shimmer in pale, pearlescent tones on white paper, and display a strong, metallic colour on dark-coloured paper.
• These high-quality watercolours are mixable and have a creamy, smooth texture that is best appreciated on dark paper.
• Each watercolour pan is individual and can be removed from the palette whilst in use.
