You can use them dry but mix them with water and WOW! the color becomes a vibrant ink.
Once dry, the color sets and can be worked over the top due to its permanent characteristic.
It is ideal for use on fabrics such as silk and cotton.

Once the colors are washed out they dry quickly meaning very little bleed occurs so colors can be placed side by side without bleeding into each other.
