Schmincke transparent watercolor primer 250ml

• Primer for working with watercolors or tempera on non-greasy surfaces such as linen canvas, cardboard or wood.
• Leaves a transparent, elastic and uniform surface for working with wet techniques.
• Dries forming a uniform, elastic, matte and smooth film.
• It is ready to use and should be applied in at least 3 coats on the substrate. If thinned (max. 10% water), more coats are required. The previous layer must always be completely dry before applying another.
• It is recommended to shake before use and apply it with a brush.
• It can be painted directly with watercolor once dry. If desired, the undried product can be tinted with tube watercolor paint or acrylic paint to create a colored surface prior to carrying out any work.
• Resists light and aging.
• Clean utensils immediately after use with water or soap and water.
