• Handmade oil pigment sticks.
• Formulated with linseed oil, high quality pure pigments and just enough wax to give it that elongated shape, which allows the artist to paint directly onto the surface.
• Unlike many other industrially produced oils, they contain no additives, extenders, substitutes or facilitators so as not to reduce the quality of the paint.
• Their manufacture and formulation is labour intensive and they are handmade in small batches.
• They are mixable with pine or linseed oil, alkyd mediums or resin gels, and can be thinned with turpentine or mineral spirits.
• They are excellent stand-alone painting tools, but can also be used with a palette knife or brushes.
• They can be used on any base suitable for oil painting: stretched canvas, paper, clay-coated paper, primed canvas, lauan panels, plywood, copper, iron or aluminium, glass and plexiglass.
• More absorbent surfaces will make the paint dry faster and leave a matt finish.
• When completely dry they can be varnished as you would with any oil paint.
• A palette of 91 colours will give you the possibility to achieve an infinite range by mixing them. You can use Blender sticks, with or without blotter, which do not contain pigment.
• The use of a cobalt blotter can affect the colour, so it is best to work the colours on it after it has been placed on the surface.
• They are also ideal for glazes and to increase transparency.
