The ball point is very useful as it allows you to engrave extra fine points and draw lines similar to those developed by a pencil. You can draw regular lines or dots of Ø1.5mm, depending on the way you hold it and the burning time.
Each model of tip will give us a different effect and stroke. We also get a different trace with respect to the intensity of burning, the width of the line and the engraving motif.
Before starting pyrography, especially for beginners, it is advisable to practice on an unusable piece of the material you are going to work on. In this way, we will be able to get the right feel to start pyrography.
We can pyrography on wood, leather, fabrics, paper, chamois, stone.
