A special selection of granulating pigments of earth, mineral and plant origin. With great attention to detail, these natural pigments were chosen for their unique atmospheric and organic textures. The elements, divisible into infinitely small pieces without changing their nature, can reveal the essence and complexity of all matter.

A special gift: Each Elements palette includes a special edition sample card in the colour Antique gold.

Palette highlights:

Includes Meteorite brown, made from crushed meteorite stones that have fallen to Earth as shooting stars. These chondrites belong to the so-called stony meteorites and are approximately 4.5 billion years old.
Vivianite is a rare blue-grey mineral pigment found in phosphate-rich organic environments, such as peat bogs and clay beds, or as crystals inside fossil shells or attached to fossil bones.
Indigo green is a specially granulated dark green obtained from the precipitation of reseda and indigo plants.

Handmade watercolour set with twelve half godets, individually wrapped in a metal box with two mixing surfaces, a colour chart printed on Arches watercolour paper and a Tintoretto size 6 artist's grade pocket brush.
The Elements palette is packaged with original marbled paper from a Florentine artisan workshop and comes in an elegant gift box.

Craftsmanship and quality

Handmade in Assisi, A. Gallo watercolours are made according to a traditional recipe with pure pigments, gum arabic, local honey, rosemary essential oil and a wetting agent. This artisanal process results in a highly pigmented and luminous paint, which is wonderfully activated by water.

A. Gallo Colors are 100% handmade. The godets may have small imperfections, such as tiny bubbles or slight marks. This does not affect the quality of the paint and is proof of the handwork behind each unique piece.

Caution: Medium godets pose a choking hazard and are not intended for child use. It is also recommended to keep them out of reach of pets.

Safety and sustainability: All A. Gallo Colors watercolours are free of cadmium, cobalt, lead and mercury.
