This modelling paste dries to an opaque matt white finish that is very hard but flexible. It is ideal for use on supports that may be subject to some movement, as it can adapt without breaking. It can be used on its own, mixed with colour or painted once dry, allowing for a wide variety of creative options.

An advantage of this paste is that it dries more slowly than other modelling pastes, giving you more working time. It also has minimal shrinkage, which means it retains its shape and size once dry.

Liquitex Medium Flexible Modelling Paste can be overpainted with acrylics, oils, watercolours, graphite or dry pastels, allowing you to add detail and finish to your creations. It maintains paint adhesion, durability and archival quality, ensuring that your artwork remains in good condition over time.

The paste is easy to use. It can be easily mixed with other Liquitex products and applied with a spatula or suitable tool. It can also be tinted with acrylic colour to obtain a coloured paste. To obtain the desired texture, it is recommended to let some of the water evaporate slowly by removing the lid from the container.

Depending on your project, you can apply thin layers of the modelling paste, letting each one dry. If cracks appear, you can let them dry and then fill them with another thin layer of paste. Once dry, you can repaint it with acrylics or other materials of your choice.

It is important to note that this modelling paste should not be used with materials that are not compatible with acrylics. Too fast drying may cause aesthetic, but not structural, cracks.
