• The KUM Meisterwerk offers what artists and true pencil enthusiasts really need. It undergoes eight quality controls, nothing is left to chance during the production process. Special blades, tests after each production step and high-quality precision workmanship guarantee the uniqueness of this sharpener.
• Made of magnesium, a high-tech material. It is not only lightweight, but also ensures the perfect fit of the blade. The blades are made of finely ground high-carbon steel. This steel, with a hardness of over 62 hrc, is much harder than any high-quality kitchen knife (around 55 hrc).
• Due to Dynamic Torsion Action®, the blades are under constant tension, preventing the tip of the pencil from breaking off.
• Sharpening is done in two stages:
• - In hole 1 the wood is removed from the pencil. The sharpener setting is a TC (Thin Cut) system.
• - In hole 2, the lead is sharpened and gently shaped. The aim is a long and precise pencil point.
• The result is a cone shape based on 8 degrees. Essential for this perfection is a pencil with a centred lead and first-class wood. Second and third quality pencils fail here.
• Comes packaged in a plastic box and a neoprene bag with two spare blades.
