The different types of pencils for drawing:

Watercolour pencils, are a versatile tool that allows to generate a wide range of effects, from detailed drawings to abstract paintings. The lead of these pencils is made of pigments and wax, which dissolve in water to generate a smooth and translucent colour. You can dilute the strokes with water to create watercolour effects. You can do it with a paintbrush, an airbrush or even your fingers.

In pastel pencils, the transfer of colour on the paper is faster, allowing a better mixture of colours. It possesses a high concentration of pigments that guarantees brilliant colours and an excellent resistance to light, ideal for your fine art works.

Graphite pencils that are made of a mixture of graphite and clay. The amount of graphite in the mixture determines the hardness of the lead. Harder graphite pencils produce a fine and clear stroke (H), while softer graphite pencils produce a thick and dark stroke (B).

On the other hand, charcoal pencils are made of a mixture of charcoal and clay. The amount of charcoal in the mixture determines the hardness of the lead and is the same as graphite pencils. These allow to create realistic and expressive drawings.
