Model Color range, water-based matte acrylic paints, specially formulated for airbrushing.
Each color has been rigorously developed in collaboration with modelers specializing in figures and fantasy dioramas.
Colors can be applied directly to the surface, or thinned with Airbrush Thinner or Flow Improver. They dry quickly and it’s recommended to apply successive layers over a previously primed surface. A few hours after application, the color forms a film of extraordinary resistance without altering the slightest detail of the model.
It can be used with a brush. Recommended compressor settings are around 15 – 20 PSI or 0.5 to 1 kg. For proper airbrush maintenance, we recommend using Vallejo Airbrush Cleaner.
Model Color is notflammable and does not contain solvents. See information regarding product certifications in the Safety section.
