Technical description

Caran d’Ache Neocolor II wax crayons

  • The Neocolor II water-soluble oil pastels showcase the tremendous innovative capabilities of Maison Caran d’Ache.
  • Created in 1972 as the successor to the famous Neocolor I range, they offer unlimited creative possibilities for artists and beginners alike.
  • Building on the existing excellent qualities (exceptional coverage, smoothness and extreme lightfastness), the artisans at the Manufacture added water solubility, a property much appreciated by connoisseurs of the Maison across all artistic fields and from school age onwards.
  • Neocolor II can be used for all forms of creativity, from drawing on dry or wet materials, monotypes, impregnation, wet-on-wet drawing, glazing or rainbow gradients.
  • With 84 colours, the entire range offers almost limitless scope for the imagination, to the extent that even experienced artists come to see things through the eyes of a child once more.
  • Made in Switzerland.
  • Vegan except for colours 028 and 036.
