Acrylic Slow Dry Open Golden 59ml
Slow Dry slow drying acrylic paints.
With a slightly softer consistency than Heavy Body paints.
Their longer working time extends their range to include more traditional techniques previously only possible with oils.
Drying times are highly dependent on ambient conditions and individual results may vary. In ambient conditions of 70°F (21°C) and 30% relative humidity, they have an average working time approximately 10 times longer than regular acrylic paints.
Formulated with an optimum balance of pigment loading and 100% acrylic polymer dispersion and a versatility that allows you to explore techniques such as portrait and landscape painting, smoothing, shading, glazing and fine detail creation.
They mix easily with all acrylic colours and easily tint gels, mediums, gessos and backgrounds.
OPEN acrylic colours are recommended in thin layers. Applications over 1.5 mm (wet film thickness) will result in excessively long drying times, persistently soft, increased tack, translucent layers that remain cloudy.
