Technical description

White Nights watercolours

White Nights watercolours from St. Petersburg have been handmade in Russia since 1934 with pigments and gum arabic, resulting in a professional quality product that is highly resistant to light.

They create an extra-fine quality watercolour that delivers great results, making them the best value for money.

They are composed of a concentrated and firmly ground pigment, gum arabic, as well as other components such as acacia gum and binders.

They are characterised by their high pigmenting capacity, resulting in intense and vividly coloured stains, but also by their transparency.

Each godet contains 2.5 ml.

Artists' Watercolour Godet White Nights

You won't have to wet them constantly, as another of their characteristics is that they keep the humidity well while you use them with an intermediate texture, which facilitates and speeds up the work. All you have to do is think about creating with them.

The range includes more than 100 colours in which you will find a variety of shades such as pastel, neon or metallic colours. All of them with great pigmentation and luminosity.

They come in a convenient loose whole godet format so you can create your own watercolour set or replenish those you need.

Special Effects
White Night also presents several series of spectacular effects in several different families:

Metamorphosis: multi-tone granulating watercolours in which, as they dry, several pigments separate, creating transitions and changing textures in a single wash.

Granulating: colours formulated for visible textured granulation, ideal for creating organic effects (stone, earth, atmospheres) and for enhancing the texture of paper.

Metallic: shades with metallic finish for luminous details and "jewel" touches in illustration and watercolour.

Shimmering: a range of colours with iridescent shimmering and duochromes organised in families according to the size and intensity of the shimmering particles:

Flare: large, highly reflective, solid-coloured particles.
Shimmer: large particles with chameleon or duochrome-like shimmer.
Glow: medium particles with chameleon/duochrome effect and a good shade change.
Shine: fine pearlescent and iridescent pigments, more subtle.
