Speedball Akua Intaglio Carbon Black Engraving Ink 472ml

• Akua Intaglio ink was originally formulated for intaglio printing, but can also be applied with a roller for relief printing, monotype and collagraphy. It will print from any plastic, wood, linoleum or metal plate.
• Akua Intaglio is a soya-based ink, made with high-quality, lightfast pigments.
• The inks have a thick consistency with minimal water content and contain no toxic drying agents, allowing for a longer working time.
• If any Akua Intaglio colour is too thick, you can add mixing medium, applied with a spatula. To thicken the ink, add Akua Mag Mix.
• There are various Akua modifiers designed to adapt the inks for a wide range of techniques.
• They can be easily cleaned with a dry cloth followed by soap and water. Never use toxic solvents.
• Prints can be re-soaked immediately after printing if handled with care. Once the print is dry, Akua Intaglio is permanent. The ink will never peel or harden in the bottle or on the plate.
