The aim of this BEGINNER'S GUIDE is to introduce the reader to the technique of still life painting. This genre has many advantages for the beginner: it is the best model to learn how to compose, as it allows an enormous variety of different distributions, views and framings; the simplicity and geometrical form of many of the objects that compose it, makes it a good reason to start drawing; and finally, it provides the artist with complete control over the model. This book is presented as an approach to this universal genre, an elementary didactic guide that allows us to solve any compositional and interpretative question and thus recreate the still life in a convincing way, thanks to brief texts endorsed by numerous steps, indications and tips that will help you solve the difficulties that may arise during the development of the exercises.
