Raphaël Campus 36 Oil Pastels Case

• If you like to draw but want to get the look of a painting these oil pastels are your perfect solution.
Black wooden case for easy storage and transport.
36 Pastels of different intense and luminous colours.
  Easy to apply.
  Numerous possible application techniques.
Can be used on a wide range of media.
  To start colouring with them:
The first thing to do is to sketch the motif gently on the support with a soft pencil, making sure not to "scratch" the surface. The oil pastel will not hold properly on these marked areas.
Then go over the pencil lines with the main colour to be used in that area.
Beware of adding too many layers: this will also muddy the surface of the paint because the "grain" of the surface of the support will no longer be able to hold the oil pastel.
As you add layers and colours, you can blend the pastel with your fingers or a cotton swab.
To finish, let your paint harden. The time it takes for an oil pastel to harden varies depending on the number of layers used. You may want to add a fixative to ensure the life of your painting as well.
