• The colour can be applied to the grisaille, either with full intensity or as a desaturated colour, after mixing with these greys. Each Williamsburg oil colour has an assigned value that can be maintained when mixed with the corresponding neutral grey or changed to a lighter or darker value.
• The Neutral Greys allow artists to adjust the value and chroma of any colour without altering its tone. The Neutral Greys in this set range from N2 (darkest) to N8 (lightest). Together, they create balanced value levels for mixing with other colours.
• The colours in the new Williamsburg Neutral Gray set can be mixed with all Williamsburg Artist Oils to achieve different colour values.
