Metal box 24 half godet watercolour Signature A. Gallo

This palette includes 24 colours from the Signature collection, a vibrant and defined range of pure pigments and new exclusive blends of secondary colours. This collection of colours is at once clean and luminous, grainy and deep.

Signature 24 includes a traditional Tintoretto size 0 mop brush.

This handmade watercolour set, with twenty-four individually wrapped medium godets, comes in a metal box with a colour chart printed on Arches watercolour paper. Signature 24 is packaged in original marbled paper made by a Florentine artisan workshop and comes in an elegant gift box.

The highlight is YInMn blue, an exclusive bright blue pigment that achieves pure shades of colour previously unattainable on the colour wheel, a dark blue between ultramarine and cobalt.

This mixed oxide pigment is composed of the very rare rare earth element yttrium (Y), the scarce semi-metal indium (In) and manganese (Mn). It is the most recent of the great pigment discoveries. Its chemical composition is quite complex and it is only produced in small quantities, which makes it a very precious material.

Craftsmanship and quality

Handmade in Assisi, A. Gallo watercolours are made according to a traditional recipe with pure pigments, gum arabic, local honey, rosemary essential oil and a wetting agent. This artisanal process results in a highly pigmented and luminous paint, which is wonderfully activated by water.

A. Gallo Colors are 100% handmade. The godets may have small imperfections, such as tiny bubbles or slight marks. This does not affect the quality of the paint and is proof of the handwork behind each unique piece.

Caution: Medium godets pose a choking hazard and are not intended for child use. It is also recommended to keep them out of reach of pets.

Safety and sustainability: All A. Gallo Colors watercolours are free of cadmium, cobalt, lead and mercury.
