Metal box 24 half godet watercolour Naturale A. Gallo
THE 24-colour palette of exquisite pigments of earth, mineral and plant origin, from the Mediterranean basin to the forests of Sumatra. The Tintoretto Linea Feltracco size 0 mop brush is included in each palette of 24 colours!
Some of the highlights of the collection are Copper blue (PW4, PG7, PB15:3, PY3), a delicate blue-green shade, the new Green gold (PY150, PY184, PG36), inspired by the historic sap green made from ripe buckthorn berries, a vibrant Italian Raw sienna from Badia (PY43) and the genuine Lapis lazuli, extra fine. We have a new exclusive source for premium quality extra fine Lapis lazuli. This exquisite Fra Angelico blue pigment is made by grinding semi-precious lapis lazuli stones to a powder and extracting the purest pigment in small artisanal batches.
Jarosite (PY43) from Cyprus, a limonite famous for its unique shade, and the new, genuine Rose Madder (NR9), a transparent red pigment obtained from the root of the Rubia tinctorum plant. Madder was used in ancient Egypt, Greece and Rome to dye textiles and, to some extent, to make pigments.
Other favourites include Arancio di Castiglia (PR102, PY43), an orange-red bauxite ochre from sunny Castile in the heart of Spain. By special request, we have included Potter's Pink (PR233), a grainy, naturalistic pink shade invented by an unknown Staffordshire potter around 1780.
Handmade watercolour set of twenty-four individually wrapped medium godets in a metal box with two mixing surfaces, a DIY colour chart printed on Arches watercolour paper and a traditional cruelty-free Tintoretto size 0 mop brush. The Naturale 24 palette is packaged in original marbled paper made by a Florentine artisan workshop and comes in an elegant gift box.

Craftsmanship and quality
Handmade in Assisi, A. Gallo watercolours are made according to a traditional recipe with pure pigments, gum arabic, local honey, rosemary essential oil and a wetting agent. This artisanal process results in a highly pigmented and luminous paint, which is wonderfully activated by water.
A. Gallo Colors are 100% handmade. The godets may have small imperfections, such as tiny bubbles or slight marks. This does not affect the quality of the paint and is proof of the handwork behind each unique piece.
Caution: Medium godets pose a choking hazard and are not intended for child use. It is also recommended to keep them out of reach of pets.
Safety and sustainability: All A. Gallo Colors watercolours are free of cadmium, cobalt, lead and mercury.
