The palaces of the Alhambra bring together an exceptional set of geometric designs that give shape to the prodigious decoration of its courtyards and halls. Thirty models representative of the different typologies have been selected for this book, arranged according to the pattern used as a base, and with different levels of difficulty.
The book has a Workbook format in which the reader is the real protagonist, as he or she can approach the design of these compositions in an active and enjoyable way, and without the need for prior knowledge of geometry .
The first part of the book reproduces the selected models in colour, indicating their location on the monument and their main characteristics, while the second part contains the 30 drawing plates with the initial geometric bases printed in grey ink. The 170-gram cardboard used in the edition facilitates the use of different graphic techniques to complete the drawings.
It is also the ideal complement for those who already know the works and wish to practice with the design of the mosaics in a comfortable way, starting from the previously drawn geometric bases.
It is presented in a bilingual edition, with all the texts in Spanish and English on each of the pages.
